Our Operating Principles
Raiko Systems, Inc. is a very special organization. We are
continually recruiting and retaining highly skilled professionals in technology,
HR, management, logistics, and program development, whose goals are compatible
with our vision and mission. In order for the organization to work effectively and
provide superb values to our clients, we need to be creative in our work
arrangement.
We try very hard to operate in such ways that
enable our consultants, clients and staff to fulfill their family, organizational
and social obligations while advancing their personal career objectives and
desires. The balancing act of "personal" and
"professional" life should not be so difficult. We give you the
means and power to work creatively.
Integrity
We try very hard to conduct ourselves with high level of integrity at all times. We believe that a key to strengthening the
network and its relationship to our clients, community and the society is
integrity. Here are some examples:
"Open Book" Management
We share our financials to our staff. It
is important for every in the organization to be aware of the financial
performance. If we are doing badly, then you as a member of the
organization needs to be creative about saving money and coming up with new sources of
revenue. If we are doing great, then we all should take pride in knowing
exactly where we are doing well, and with whom. We believe that having
our financial information open to everyone in the organization keeps us honest
and focused on performance. Financial performance is everyone's
business, not just that of the senior executives.
Monthly and Semi-Annual Review
We keep ourselves honest by taking a pulse of
our organization - monthly and on semi-annual basis. We conduct less
formal monthly reviews of the entire staff, including the management
team. On semi-annual basis, we conduct more extensive performance
reviews to identify the areas that we can improve on.
Kindness
We believe strongly that kindness is what
differentiates the humans from the animals. We are born with a natural ability to
be kind to each other, yet somehow along the way, we often "forget" to be
kind to each other in our busy lives. It is time to re-awaken those
dormant instincts and be kind to yourself, to your family, to clients and to
the society. Here is an example:
Charitable Causes
That is why we sponsor every staff to
participate in the charity causes that they believe in. We offer
financial support and flexible work schedule to allow everyone in the organization to
participate in the causes that they believe. The participation
strengthens the bond with the community and the society with we are all part
of.
Sharing Knowledge
Please share your professional knowledge and
experience generously with our clients, staff and the communities which you
belong. If you have access to the "secret sauce," we all have
a tendency to hide it from others because of our instinctive fear.
Believe us when we say that there are plenty of work and engagements to be had
for all of you, even if you share your secrets. You are opt to find more
opportunities if you share your secrets and knowledge and empower others.
Flexibility
We have a minimal amount of policies and
procedures. We have the basic stuff to get us organized and stay
focused, but nothing to control every aspect of your work life.
"Open Door" Management -
Flexible Hours
You decide when you need to be at work.
You are old enough and wise enough to control and determine when you are most
effective. You also want to have flexibility to take care of your
personal life. You want to work 30 hours a week so that you can pick-up
your kids from school and take them to their soccer lessons. You can do
that here, as long as you are focused on your projects and tightly in touch
with your manager. You just need to remember that you have obligations
and a pledge to the network and to our clients to do the best work possible.
Go Get Fired!
We mean, "Get fired up!" Our
consultants are passionate about the projects that we take. Our
consultants take pride in their personal involvement with the causes and the
project that they work on. All of our projects are examined closely for
their mission value and compatibility with our beliefs before they start.
We do not engage in projects that do not add
lasting values to the communities and clients. Our belief is that the
projects will be successful if the long-term goals and the objectives are
in-line with the communities and society's idea of enrichment and advancement.
